About Us

RJ’S Aussie Posse is located in Mt. Vernon, a small town in northeast Texas. We are approximately 100 miles east of Dallas, Tx and approximately 100 miles west of Shreveport, LA.

We raise standard Australian Shepherds 18” to 21” and strive to produce a healthy, happy puppy for their forever family. All our adults are genetically tested through Paw Prints and have a clear panel. All our male adult dogs are duel registered ASDR/AKC and our females are registered ASDR or AKC.

Our puppies are whelped in a room in our house and raised in our home for the first three weeks. After that, they are moved to the puppy yard. The puppy yard has an insulated house with heat, fans and a doggie door that opens to a small area until they are 6 weeks old. At this age, they are moved to the toddler puppy yard.  They are handled every day socialized with people, children, and other dogs. They are also around noises like vacuum cleaners, lawnmowers, and cattle.

We love our puppies like family and we want to find a loving forever home for them. We will be here to answer questions whenever we can.
